Description
Homicide and suicide is considered as the Siamese twins in psychiatry.
When a person commits homicide, suicide usually follows. It is not because suicide is the way the person is going to escape the allegations that will follow and all the court drama but because the victim is actually seen as part of the "self" that has been killed so he might as well totally eliminate his own remaining self, so that he could be together with the first one that has passed away in yet another place... Tallk about being nihilistic.
I drew this not because i'm currently mentally unstable but for the reason that this is the first shot in my psychiatric-themed series.

I used watercolor crayons on watercolor paper. I wished i could clean this up more in photoshop but i don't have the program atm. orz

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is one of the most beautiful illustrations I've seen that represent a serious issue along with a great point. Artistically representing the two like this couldn't be more impactful than shown here because of the colors and style. The one thing that I see noticeable is the arm length of the girl in blue; it feels too long and slightly off proportion, but with her holding the gun is understand. A reference would help with areas such as this, but on the other hand, the wrinkles in the clothes, their hair, and the simple emphasis is wonderful. Good work!
